Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all bookings made on shortstaysindia.com, operated by Worldlink Global India ("we", "our", "us").

By confirming a booking, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Cancellation by Guest

Cancellation terms depend on how far in advance the booking is cancelled.

a. More than 7 days before check-in

  • 100% refund of the booking amount
  • Payment gateway charges (if any) may be deducted

b. 3 to 7 days before check-in

  • 50% refund of the booking amount

c. Less than 72 hours before check-in

  • No refund

d. No-Show

No refund will be provided if the guest does not arrive on the check-in date without prior notice.

2. Early Check-Out

No refunds are provided for unused nights if the guest checks out early.

3. Cancellation by Us

We may cancel a booking due to:

  • Property unavailability
  • Maintenance issues
  • Safety concerns
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.)

In such cases:

  • Full refund will be issued, or
  • Alternative accommodation may be offered (subject to availability)

4. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method
  • Processing time may vary depending on the payment provider or bank

5. Security Deposit Refunds

If a security deposit was collected:

  • It will be refunded within 48–72 hours after check-out
  • Refund is subject to inspection

Deductions may apply for:

  • Property damage
  • Missing items
  • Excessive cleaning
  • Rule violations

6. Non-Refundable Charges

The following are non-refundable:

  • Convenience or payment gateway fees
  • Cleaning fees (if already incurred)
  • Early check-in / late check-out charges once availed

7. Special Offers & Promotional Bookings

Bookings made under discounted rates, promotional offers, or long-stay deals may have different cancellation terms, which will be clearly mentioned at the time of booking.

8. Force Majeure

We are not liable for refunds or compensation for cancellations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Pandemics
  • Government orders
  • Strikes or infrastructure failures

Refunds in such cases are at our discretion.
